Usher In The Studio With Pharrell
Usher is working on new album. The RnB superstar hit the studio with today’s big hitmakers including Pharrell, Jim Jonsin, Rico Love, and Diplo to lay down some new tracks for his seventh album which is due sometime in 2012.
“Right now we’re just experimenting with different sounds,” said Rico, who penned “There Goes My Baby” off 2010’s Raymond v. Raymond. “My job is to make sure it stays classic. I don’t feel like Usher is just a Top 40 artist or just an R&B artist or just a rhythmic artist. I gotta make records that connect to all formats.”
Alicia Keys
Grammy winning artist Alicia Keys, who is co-founder of “keep a Child Alive”. The non-profit organization had it’s 8 Annual Ball at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC. The annual event benefits children and families affected by HIV/AIDS in India and Africa.

Guests at the ball were injected with performances by Usher, Norah Jones, will.i.am, Jay Sean, and more. Alicia joined Usher and Richie Sambora of The Beatles’ “Here Comes the Sun” and closed the night by singing “I Gotta Feeling” with will.i.am, as her mother and brother danced onstage.

The RnB diva wore a abumble bee costume to the Halloween party thrown by Kanye West and supermodel Anja Rubik at The Darby restaurant in NYC last night. A very pregnant Beyonce was cute as can be, donning antennae, a striped yellow-and-black fuzzy outfit, and matching heels, while enjoying belly dancers and tarot card readings.

Rihanna
RnB/Pop princess Rihanna has been named by Esquire magazine as the Sexiest Woman Alive. Rihanna looks absolutely stunning on the cover of Esquire November issue, wearing nothing but a few pieces of green paper in the smoking hot photos by Russell James.
Despite her on the edge image, Rihanna says she never deliberately tries to be sexy on stage. “At the end of a show, I don’t feel like I’ve been this sexy thing. Really, I don’t even think about it,” she tells the magazine.
Rihanna talks about Chris Brown and his latest career come up. “It’s great to see how he bounce back out of it the way he did. Even when the world seemed like it was against him, you know?” she says. “I really like the music he’s putting out. I’m a fan of his stuff. I’ve always been a fan. Obviously, I had some resentment toward him for a while, for obvious reasons. But I’ve put that behind me. It was taking up too much of my time. It was too much anger. I’m really excited to see the breakthrough he’s had in his career. I would never wish anything horrible for him. Never. I never have.”
